Beer Recipe - Alter Sommer (Leichtbier)

Inspired by Wolke 7, but altered to fit my ingredients.

Base data

  • Original wort: 9.5 °P
  • Alcohol: 3.3% Vol.
  • Main pour: 27 l
  • Post pout: 13 l
  • End product: 30 l
  • Bitter: ~ 20 IBU
  • Color: ~ 20 EBC

Ingredience

Mashing

  • 57 °C - Mashing in
  • 57 °C - 10 minutes protein rest
  • 72 °C - 30 minutes 1. sugar rest
  • 76 °C - 10 minutes 2. sugar rest (until no starch is left)
  • 78 °C - Mashing out

Hop boiling

  • 90 minutes total
  • 40 g Tettnanger pellets before boiling
  • 30 g Cascade pellets 10 minutes before end
  • 20 g Tettnanger flower in Whirlpool
